Mailing List

We run a mailman discussion list. If you are interested in GNU/Linux and you are in the Lincoln area, please feel free to join the list and introduce yourself. A warm welcome is guaranteed.

As well as being used for general discussions around the topic of Linux, the list is also used to announce our meeting dates.

How to join the list

Go to the list info page. Look for the section marked "Subscribing to Lincoln" and fill in the boxes.

Alternatively, send an email to lincoln-join@mailman.lug.org.uk. You will receive a reply with some instructions to follow. Note, the subject and body of your email will be ignored, so you can leave these blank.

How to post to the list

Once you are subscribed, you can post a message to list by simply sending an email to lincoln@mailman.lug.org.uk.

How to unsubscribe from the list

Send an email to lincoln-leave@mailman.lug.org.uk. The subject and body of this message will be ignored, so it doesn't matter what you put there.
